Venue Pricing

Our venue consists of two historic buildings from the early 1920s—the Granville Presbyterian Church and the Granville Mercantile—as well as the entirety of the acre lot that they set on in downtown Granville. Our packages include both buildings and the entire block, so that you can configure and arrange your event the way you want it.

Elopements: $600
Elopements are one-day events from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.

Fridays and Sundays: $1,000
Friday and Sunday packages are from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM.

Saturday: $1,250
Saturday packages are from 8:00 AM until 11:00 PM.

Entire Weekend Package: $2,000
Our weekend bundle package consists of arrival on Friday at 8:00 AM through Sunday at 2:00 PM. The weekend bundle package allows you to stay overnight at the Mercantile, and many of our guests have enjoyed using the Great Room of the Mercantile for rehearsal dinners on Friday night.

Tables and Chairs (Optional): $200 – If you need furnishings for a reception or rehearsal dinner, we have tables and chairs available for up to 60 people for just a $200 set-up and teardown fee. These are six 5′ round tables which will seat eight people at each, and two rectangular tables, all with white tablecloths provided. The chairs are white, foldout, with the nicer fan back style. The tables and chairs are plastic and are suitable for indoor or outdoor use. You may also bring your own, if you prefer.

The Fine Print: The listed pricing is all-inclusive for the packages as described, meaning that ordinary cleaning is included in the listed price. Sales tax is not included in the listed pricing. In some cases additional hours and/or services may be purchased, but those will always be discussed in advance and will be part of your contract. Your wedding day should be one of the greatest days of your life, and we don’t want you to worry about hidden fees or anything of that nature. Regarding payment, upon booking we will ask you for 1/2 of the total amount of your event, with another 1/4 due within a month of the wedding date, and the final 1/4 due at least two weeks in advance of the event. If paying by credit card, we do ask for a 3% premium to offset the card company’s charges.

We recommend wedding insurance if you feel that you might have circumstances in which the wedding might be delayed or postponed. We do not require a wedding planner, but we do recommend one, as many couples prefer to have someone available to handle the details and finer touches.
